Riding
Children at Cottesmore have the opportunity to ride each week at a stables close to the school.
Forest Farm Riding School’s friendly and experienced staff offer riding skills tuition for riders of any age and at any level of experience.
Children are taught the basics from how to walk and control a horse, through to more advanced riding skills such as canter and jumping.
Beginners quickly become more confident and competent around horses by a variety of fun activities, although the more serious side of how to care for and tack a horse is also taught.
