Outdoor Pursuits

Outdoor Pursuits is a very popular activity choice for learning outside the classroom.

Both boys and girls are always eager to try Outdoor Pursuits, which teaches them survival skills.

In this activity they will learn for example how to build and light a fire, cook a simple meal and make a shelter.

They have made bamboo rods for fishing, been shown how to skin and cook a rabbit and have been taken beating on a pheasant shoot, later plucking and cooking a pheasant.

Safety is of course of paramount importance to us and the children are closely supervised at all times.
