Boarding At Cottesmore

Cottesmore School is a boarding prep school for children, aged 7 to 13. Cottesmore is a community with a warmth that children immediately respond to, where every member of staff knows every pupils' names and their hopes and dreams. Children at Cottesmore feel nurtured, safe and happy; school swiftly becomes a home from home. A plethora of mathematical, scientific, creative, linguistic, sporting and technological opportunities are filtered through the school’s unofficial motto 'Everyone has a talent'. Cottesmore excels at 'modern' boarding.

Cottesmore offers boarding to Year 3 children upon request. If Year 3 children are offered a place at Cottesmore, they will join a composite class of Year 3 and 4 children in Form 1 whilst following the Year 3 curriculum. They will then repeat Form 1 in their second year and study the Year 4 curriculum.

They will play sport at least 3 times a week alongside the Year 3 children who are in the Pre-prep. This will enable them to form strong friendships when they merge together in the Year 3 boarders second year at Cottesmore.
